The one with no pain and alternatives

Now I understand not everyone can live without foundation and who can forget eyeliner? (oh yeah me!) but obviously when you are making a commitment to stop using animal products it is going to come with a high price to pay.
Now most companies will test both their product and the ingredients that go into their product to make sure that the warnings they place on the packaging are plausible or that there are no safety hazards that can burn yours eyes out. However yes there is a however, companies will repeatedly use the same ingredients in most of their products for example if a company produces a range of about 5 'different' types of mascara then it is highly likely that they will use the same ingredients, so surely they would already know the risks they are taking from previous product tests? I mean I'm no genius but if a product uses an irritant in mascara then wont they know that if they place that irritant in another one of their products it will still most likely react in the same way?
Another problem in the makeup industry is parent companies. A parent company is a company that own many other brands, for example MAC has a parent company which is Estee Lauder. Now if Estee Lauder decide to use animals to test their ingredients on it is more than likely they will then pass these ingredients down to MAC for them to use. In simpler terms its like if your mum sprays hairspray on the dog and then gives you the hairspray to sell to your peers at school.  Many many many sooooo many companies do this and you don't even know it!

All of this combined makes it hard for you and me to buy products that are surely animal cruelty free. So I'm going to try and make life easy for you and tell you some of the companies I chose to stay as far away as I can from:

MAC
Estee Lauder
L'Oréal Paris
Revlon
Lancôme
Avon
Clinique
Maybelline

And here are come that I use everyday and who have been emailed to confirm that they don't sell to china or any other company that requires animal testing, they don't have a parent company, their ingredients are from the EU and that non of there ingredients are provided by companies that do test on animals. Some are even recommended by PETA.

E.L.F
The body shop
LUSH cosmetics
Urban Decay
MUA
Bath and Body works
Too faced
wet n wild
REN
Tarte
Nars
NYX
Hard Candy

I hope that this will help you guys realise that many of the brands that are highly popular these days come with a high price, money wise and life wise. I believe that brands should be more open about where they produce their products and what happens for them to produce them and what lost its life for them to produce them. We are left in dark about what we use and its not fair on us or those that die for us to have these products. That we don't really need! that much.... maybe slightly needed... although there are soooo many amazing products out there that can help us stop feeling guilty when we use our fake lashes.
